Books and ebooks can be found by searching Library Search. You can search by criteria such as author, title, and subject. The catalogue will provide you with a link to the ebook or with details of the library that holds the book together with its location and availability.
The majority of the relevant print materials will be available from the Wills Memorial Library.
You will obtain information about the books and other resources that you will need to read from your Resource List. If your course has an online Resource List, you will find a link in the Blackboard area for the unit.
The core texts for Geographical Sciences provide introductory materials to the various units you will be studying. Some of these core texts are displayed and linked to from the right-hand panel of this page.
We use the Library of Congress classification system to place books in the appropriate place on the shelves. For example An Introduction to Physical Geography and the Environment by Holden is available on the shelves at classmark Oversize GB54.5 INT. Classmarks are recorded on the spines of books.
If you feel that the collection is missing a key item you need then please let us know by filling in a 'Suggest a book purchase' form. Your recommendations are always welcome.
