Analysing your results

Analysing your results may involve several stages including:

• Screening your results/selecting your studies to ensure they meet your inclusion/exclusion criteria. 

As you screen your results make sure you keep track of what you discard at each stage with a PRISMA Flowchart.

• Data extraction
• A meta-analysis (not suitable for all types of data)
• Narrative synthesis
