Welcome to the Library Guide for Mathematics

This guide is designed to help you make the most of the resources and support available from the Library and your Subject Librarian.

With so much information available, it can be hard to know where to begin. This guide will help you discover the most relevant sources of information for your subject and offer advice on tools and services to optimise your studies and research.

Use the tabs above to navigate to the different sections of the guide.

Students and staff are welcome to contact me for help and advice on:

  • finding and accessing information,
  • purchasing books, ebooks and other resources,
  • referencing (incl. the use of EndNote/Mendeley/Zotero),
  • and scientific writing (LaTeX, Overleaf etc.).

I can also be found in the Queen's Building Library at various times throughout the week and would be happy to meet in-person or arrange an online 1:1. Please feel free to drop in to see me (signposted 'Subject enquiries') or ask a member of staff at the Welcome Desk.
