Vet School Reading Lists

If you are new to a topic it can be helpful to use a text book to get an introduction and overview.

Your lecturers have compiled Resource Lists, which guide you to recommended books, articles and websites for your course, so you should refer to these to find information for your coursework.

Your reading lists can be found on Blackboard - in the area for your course follow the "Resource Lists" link in the left margin.

The Library gives you free access to every item on your course reading lists

  • The Medical Library in Bristol has physical copies of all the books on years 1-3 of the vet and vet nursing degrees
  • The Library also offers eBook versions of books on reading lists, where available from publishers.
