Finding specific resources

Check your resource list provided for you by your tutor or unit director: this will contain your set texts, essential readings and other recommended resources.

You will also need to use Library Search to find specific books and articles which you discover via your research.

Finding resources on a topic

When working on assignments, it is likely you will need to look beyond your unit reading list for information on your topic.

  • Use Library Search by using keywords relevant to your topic.  In Library Search you will find a range of resources, including books, journal articles, and audio/video materials
  • Use research databases to do more in-depth research (it's advisable to use Library Search before going to databases)

Use the tabs at the top of the page to find guidance on using Library Search, and information on the major research databases for Hispanic, Portuguese and Latin American studies.
