Books and eBooks

Books and ebooks can be found by searching Library Search. You can search by criteria such as author, title, and subject. The catalogue will provide you with a link to the ebook or with details of the library that holds the book together with its location and availability.

If you feel that the collection is missing a key item you need then please let us know by filling in a 'Suggest a book purchase' form. Your recommendations are always welcome.

If your course has an online Resource List, you will find a link in the Blackboard area for the unit.

Location of print resources

You can find most of the print resources for your subject in the Chemistry Library. Use Library Search to find the classmark for an item, and to search for books and other materials.

You can also find useful material in other libraries:

  • Past exam papers: ask at the Enquiry Desk for access
  • Course materials: your course materials, including examination papers and workshop questions & answers, are available via Blackboard
  • Print Theses: are held in the Chemistry Library's thesis collection
